Quick Access Usage
Section titled “Quick Access Usage”This guide shows how to add, manage, and use Quick Access items in your daily workflow.
Adding Items
Section titled “Adding Items”From Tab Right-click Menu
Section titled “From Tab Right-click Menu”- Right-click any tab in the sidebar
- Select “Pin to Quick Access”
- The tab is added with its current title and URL
From Browser History
Section titled “From Browser History”- Go to Settings → Quick Access
- Click “Select from History”
- Set days (how far back to search) and URL limit
- Grant permission if prompted
- Select items and click “Add Selected”
Using Items
Section titled “Using Items”Opening Individual Items
Section titled “Opening Individual Items”Single Click: Opens according to your link preferences With Modifier Keys: Ctrl/⌘ (new tab), Shift (new window), Alt (custom)
Using Groups
Section titled “Using Groups”In Icon View:
- Click colored button or favicon cluster
- Action depends on your “Group Click Action” setting
Group Actions:
- Expand Icons: Shows favicon grid popup
- Expand List: Shows detailed list popup
In List View:
- Click to expand/collapse group
- Click individual items within group
Managing Items
Section titled “Managing Items”Right-click Menu
Section titled “Right-click Menu”Individual Items:
- Edit: Change title, URL, opening behavior
- Delete: Remove from Quick Access
- Copy: Copy link, title, or as Markdown
Groups:
- Edit: Modify group settings, add/remove URLs
- Restore Group: Recreate as browser tab group
- Delete: Remove entire group
Creating Groups
Section titled “Creating Groups”- Right-click any Quick Access item
- Select “Edit”
- Click “Add” to include more URLs
- Set group name and color
- Save changes
Reordering Items
Section titled “Reordering Items”Drag and Drop (Icon View):
- Click and hold any item
- Drag to new position
- Release to reorder
- Changes save automatically
Two Display Modes
Section titled “Two Display Modes”Icon View (Sidebar Top)
Section titled “Icon View (Sidebar Top)”- Compact icons with tooltips
- Groups as colored buttons or favicon clusters
- Quick access and modifier key support
List View (Dedicated Panel)
Section titled “List View (Dedicated Panel)”- Full titles and URLs
- Searchable content
- Keyboard navigation (arrow keys, Enter, Escape)
- Expandable groups with counts
Switch between modes based on your preference for quick access versus detailed information.
