Snapshot Synchronization
Snapshot Synchronization
Section titled “Snapshot Synchronization”Premium Feature Required: Snapshot synchronization requires a premium membership.
Snapshot synchronization allows you to access your manually created snapshots across multiple devices (premium feature).
How Sync Works
Section titled “How Sync Works”Default Behavior
Section titled “Default Behavior”- Manual Snapshots: Sync enabled by default when created
- Auto Snapshots: Sync disabled by default (device-specific)
- Edited Snapshots: Sync enabled by default after editing
Sync Control
Section titled “Sync Control”You can toggle sync status for individual snapshots:
- Click the sync button on snapshot cards
- Only snapshots with sync enabled will be synchronized
- Premium membership required for sync functionality
Managing Sync
Section titled “Managing Sync”Enable/Disable Sync
Section titled “Enable/Disable Sync”- Open the snapshot management page
- Find the snapshot you want to sync
- Click the sync button (cloud icon) on the snapshot card
- The sync status will toggle on/off
What Gets Synced
Section titled “What Gets Synced”When sync is enabled for a snapshot:
- Complete snapshot data including all windows and tabs
- Snapshot metadata (title, description, creation time)
- Tab group organization and colors
- Device name where the snapshot was created
Sync Types
Section titled “Sync Types”Manual Snapshots
Section titled “Manual Snapshots”- Created by user action
- Sync enabled by default
- Can be toggled on/off
Sync Snapshots
Section titled “Sync Snapshots”- Received from other devices
- Automatically marked as sync type
- Sync enabled by default
Auto Snapshots
Section titled “Auto Snapshots”- Created automatically by the system
- Sync disabled by default
- Device-specific, not shared across devices
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Premium membership required
- Internet connection for synchronization
- Must be logged into the same account on all devices
Managing Synced Snapshots
Section titled “Managing Synced Snapshots”- Synced snapshots appear on all connected devices
- Updates to synced snapshots propagate to other devices
- Newer versions automatically replace older ones
- Each snapshot shows its source device name
